How Do I Add/Edit/Delete Scheduled Ordering Periods?

The Scheduled Ordering Calendar lets you manage ordering periods for users to order gift cards. An ordering period is a time frame in which users are allowed to order gift cards (program administrators usually use weekly or bi-weekly ordering). Order periods are referenced throughout Scrip Manager by their order due date. Each order period also contains a payment date and a delivery/pickup date.

Note: Only the order due date controls when users can place orders — the payment and delivery dates are informational only. Times are displayed and entered using the 24-hour clock.

Adding an order period

  1. Navigate to Settings->Calendar.
  2. The Calendar page will be displayed. In the Scheduled Ordering Calendar section, click the New Order Period button on the right.
  3. The Add New Order Period dialog will appear. Enter the following:
    • Order Due Date — The date and time by which users must place their orders.
    • Payment Date — The date and time payment is due.
    • Delivery/Pickup Date — The date orders will be delivered or available for pickup.
  4. Click the Add Order Period button.

Editing an order period

  1. On the Calendar page, in the Scheduled Ordering Calendar section, use the Future Dates, Past Dates, or All Dates tabs to find the order period you wish to edit.
  2. Click the Edit link in that order period's row.
  3. The Edit Order Period dialog will appear. Make the necessary changes.
  4. Click the Save Order Period button.

Deleting an order period

  1. On the Calendar page, in the Scheduled Ordering Calendar section, use the Future Dates, Past Dates, or All Dates tabs to find the order period you wish to delete.
  2. Click the Delete link in that order period's row.
  3. A confirmation dialog will be displayed. Click the 'Yes, Delete' button to confirm.

Note: Order periods with associated order data cannot be deleted.
