The Scheduled Ordering Calendar lets you manage ordering periods for users to order gift cards. An ordering period is a time frame in which users are allowed to order gift cards (program administrators usually use weekly or bi-weekly ordering). Order periods are referenced throughout Scrip Manager by their order due date. Each order period also contains a payment date and a delivery/pickup date.
Note: Only the order due date controls when users can place orders — the payment and delivery dates are informational only. Times are displayed and entered using the 24-hour clock.
Adding an order period
- Navigate to Settings->Calendar.
- The Calendar page will be displayed. In the Scheduled Ordering Calendar section, click the New Order Period button on the right.
- The Add New Order Period dialog will appear. Enter the following:
- Order Due Date — The date and time by which users must place their orders.
- Payment Date — The date and time payment is due.
- Delivery/Pickup Date — The date orders will be delivered or available for pickup.
- Click the Add Order Period button.
Editing an order period
- On the Calendar page, in the Scheduled Ordering Calendar section, use the Future Dates, Past Dates, or All Dates tabs to find the order period you wish to edit.
- Click the Edit link in that order period's row.
- The Edit Order Period dialog will appear. Make the necessary changes.
- Click the Save Order Period button.
Deleting an order period
- On the Calendar page, in the Scheduled Ordering Calendar section, use the Future Dates, Past Dates, or All Dates tabs to find the order period you wish to delete.
- Click the Delete link in that order period's row.
- A confirmation dialog will be displayed. Click the 'Yes, Delete' button to confirm.
Note: Order periods with associated order data cannot be deleted.
