Thresholds

Thresholds allow you to set a credit or sales amount that each user must reach. Each user may have a different threshold amount (set in the user's profile), but all users follow the same settings for how credits are earned before and after their threshold is met.

Important: Thresholds change how credits are accrued. If you place or recalculate an order from a prior year, the user's current threshold amount will be used, which may differ from what it was during that fiscal year.

Enabling thresholds

  1. Navigate to Settings->Orders.
  2. Click the Thresholds tab in the sidebar.
  3. In the Order Thresholds section, set Order Threshold to Enabled.
  4. Configure the threshold settings as described below.
  5. Click the Save button.

Threshold settings

  • Threshold Name — The name displayed for the threshold throughout Scrip Manager (for example, "Family Fee").
  • Credit Before Threshold — The credit percentage users receive before their threshold amount is reached. Choose one of:
    • Normal — Uses the default percentage split set for each gift card.
    • User 0% — Sets the user's credit share to 0%.
    • User 100% — Sets the user's credit share to 100%.
  • Credit At/After Threshold — The credit percentage users receive once their threshold amount is reached. Choose Normal, User 0%, or User 100% (same options as above).

Note: The Credit Before/After settings are applied when an order is placed. Past orders are not affected unless you place or recalculate those orders.

Setting a user's threshold amount

The threshold amount itself — the credit or sales total each user must reach — is set in each user's profile, not on the Order Thresholds page.
